NMI INSPECTION, NON-COMPLIANCE ISSUED

You may have been visited recently by your local National Measurement Institute (NMI) inspector. They may have issued you with a non-compliance notice. If this is the case, attach the infringement notice with your best contact details in an email or simply give us a call, let us know the best time for us to contact you and GC Weighing & Calibrations will arrange to have you compliant again and ready for trading.

REPAIRS

GC Weighing & Calibrations offer very speedy, reliable and thorough responses to all repairs. If we cannot repair your machine, we will STOP working and arrange for a replacement proposal to suit your requirements. No work is completed without an official Purchase Order Number or signed acceptance page. You will always know the repair price will be as proposed.

ROUTINE SERVICE VISIT

GC Weighing & Calibrations offer routine service visits for all customers. We can maintain your weighing equipment on regular monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annual intervals. Regular service and calibration helps keep your weighing equipment in optimal working order, and minimises downtime and increases the longevity of your equipment.

VERIFICATION

If you are buying or selling goods by weight, then your scales need to be of an NMI Approved type. They must also be verified.

GC Weighing & Calibrations can assist you with having your weighing machines verified. If you can supply us the make, model and capacity of the weighing machine, we will assess whether the scale is an approved type and whether it can be verified. If you don’t know the specific details, but have a general description of the weighing machine, we can try our best to help you match the correct type.
