The GC Weighing & Calibrations A&D SS High Performance Scale offers durability, corrosion resistance, and a clean finish suitable for demanding environments. Built for durability and performance, this weighing solution features high-quality 304 stainless steel across the indicator, column, frame, and pan components. As a result, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and a clean, professional finish, making it ideal for demanding industrial and hygienic environments. In addition, the unit is IP68-rated, providing full protection against water and dust, while the epoxy-coated load cell further enhances resistance to corrosion and long-term wear.

For ease of use, it includes a large backlit LCD display with clear 50 mm high characters. Moreover, the RGB backlight supports checkweighing with nine selectable colours, allowing for quick visual status recognition. The system is also NMI Trade Approved and certified for use in kilograms and grams, ensuring compliance for commercial applications.

The design prioritises reliability and maintenance. A flush polyester overlay with mechanical keys replaces traditional membrane buttons, reducing wear and improving durability. Consequently, the interface is easy to clean and highly resistant to chemicals.

Functionality is equally comprehensive. It supports check weighing, accumulation, and counting functions, along with peak hold, manual hold, and livestock filtering for more specialised applications. Furthermore, connectivity is enhanced with two bidirectional RS232 serial ports, four digital inputs, and four electrically isolated high-side digital outputs.

For streamlined setup and updates, the system includes OPTOLINK connectivity (cable sold separately), enabling quick temporary connection to a PC. In addition, free A&D View programming software is available to simplify configuration and data management. Optional upgrades include an RS-485 interface (OP-04), analog output options (4–20mA / 0–10V via OP-07), and a convenient wall mount for flexible installation.
